Hi! Iām Dani. I grew up on a farm wearing wellies. Fast forward to 2014, while working a corporate job, I couldnāt find comfy, stylish, all-weather boots. That inspired me to create Merry People. I hope our boots bring comfort and a little extra joy to your everyday adventures!

Featuring waterproof rubber, straps cushioned with neoprene, three points of adjustment for the perfect fit, a slip-resistant outsole, and comfortable arch support.

I bought these sandals after looking around online for a new sandal suitable for my wide feet. I wasnāt totally convinced that theyād fit, so I went into the Melbourne store. The shop person was lovely! I tried the sandals on and the foot width is great! Wide enough that my whole foot is supported. They are comfy and easy to wear. My only feedback is that the length of the Velcro on each strap limits the amount of flexible you have with the straps. Iād love to be able to pull the ankle strap out a bit further, but the thick Velcro limits this. It would be great to see an updated style with slightly shorter Velcro strips, but the same length strap, to provide that extra flexibility, particularly in warm weather when feet swell.

I wasnāt sure about these sandals when I first saw them. I loved the colours and I live for comfortable shoes, but wasnāt sure if they would suit me. Then I saw the photoshoot for Berry sandals and took a chance. Now I have all four colours and am desperately hoping Merry People come out with something in shades of purple (lilac, lavender, periwinkle, violet, mauve - Iām here for it Merry!). The thick straps remind me of the chunky sandals of the 90s. The colours are fun and Iāve gotten loads of compliments. And of course, they are incredibly comfortable. Not a blister in sight and I can wear them all day without getting that awful friction rub so many sandals are prone to producing.
Iām particularly fond of the sand and chocolate pair (could we get this colour combo for the Tully Boot please š), but love them all.
