Hi! I’m Dani. I grew up on a farm wearing wellies. Fast forward to 2014, while working a corporate job, I couldn’t find comfy, stylish, all-weather boots. That inspired me to create Merry People. I hope our boots bring comfort and a little extra joy to your everyday adventures!
Rain or shine, Merry People short Wellington boots are the perfect everyday rain boots! Not only have our boots boots been waterproof tested so you can wear them on rainy days without getting your feet soaked, but our wellies have also been tested for below-freezing temperatures, so they will keep you cosy from summer to winter in the UK.

We offer free standard shipping and returns within the UK for all orders over £30.
We ship from our warehouse in Basildon, Essex with delivery from Monday to Friday.

Next day deliveries are not delivered over the weekend - if your order is placed with next day delivery before 3pm on Friday, it will be delivered on the Monday. Orders placed after 3pm on a Friday or on Saturday or Sunday will be delivered on Tuesday.
Same day dispatch: If you place your order before 3pm on a weekday it’ll be on it's way to you the same day.

I am normally a size AU9.5, and I initially chose the larger size shoe in a darker colour but my foot was too slippy inside the shoe and the smaller size in the darker colour was out of stock. So I took a chance after reading reviezws about the versatility of the Rust colour and I am so glad I did! The returns process was the best I have ever encountered, the new shoes were posted to me even before the initial pair had arrived back at the warehouse - talk about speedy!
Comfortable and warm, I can't wait to wear them at my kids' weekend rugby games and avoid getting muddy wet feet finally. Now to avoid the temptation of buying additional colours...

I am a mental health support worker and I have to be out in all weathers, I also have a dog that needs a walk every day. These fit the bill perfectly and I absolutely love them. They are comfortable and easy to get on and off all while providing me with dry feet all day long. I now want to buy more pairs, the hard part is choosing which colour. I'm a size 10, so I got 10s and they fit perfectly 👌
