Hi! I’m Dani. I grew up on a farm wearing wellies. Fast forward to 2014, while working a corporate job, I couldn’t find comfy, stylish, all-weather boots. That inspired me to create Merry People. I hope our boots bring comfort and a little extra joy to your everyday adventures!
A fresh twist on a neutral shade, Slate's blue and grey tones are an earthy colour combo inspired by the natural beauty of stormy coastal landscapes and rock formations.

We offer free standard shipping and returns within the UK for all orders over £30.
We ship from our warehouse in Basildon, Essex with delivery from Monday to Friday.

Been wanting this color this boot for a long time have it in navy have it in brown and I love them all fit perfect no break in time slides off and on the foot easy can wear in the yard for yard work or on the farm or wherever you go!! Mostly rain days next pair will be black.

These are the first shoes I reach for just about every day. I'm on to my third mustard pair (I have dark cherry merrys and billie clogs in bright olive) old ones for dagging around in the garden, everyday ones and a fresh pair for good. Keep them well oiled to thwart discolouration being that they are pale and to keep the natural rubber in good condition and they look great for everyday wear whilst being so comfortable and warm. I highly recommend them.

Having bought a cream pair as I was heading for a weekend of Highland cow grooming & needed a pair of stylish Gummies (the cows noticed) was so impressed with the comfort, the fit ,waterproof , easy cleaning afterwards I brought another pair in the green plus bought my daughter a pair of yellow ones

These boots are perfect!
Fit, style, colour, versatility and easy to clean after getting red dirt all over.
A couple friends shared their love for these boots, so I decided to buy some for myself as I am often in the garden and also wanted something colourful and nice to wear out, day or night.
They are my go to every day.
I’ve had many compliments and questions about them in just a couple weeks.
If you’re questioning whether to get a pair, I highly recommend.
