Hi! I’m Dani. I grew up on a dairy farm wearing wellies. Fast forward to 2014, while working a corporate job, I couldn’t find comfy, stylish, all-weather boots. That inspired me to create Merry People. I hope our boots bring comfort and a little extra joy to your everyday adventures!
A fresh twist on a neutral shade, Slate's blue and grey tones are an earthy colour combo inspired by the natural beauty of stormy coastal landscapes and rock formations.

We ship from our warehouse in Basildon, Essex with delivery from Monday to Friday.

I have given these boots 4 stars although comfortable I could do with a half size bigger ( which isn’t an option).
The reason being ,as feet get warm on a longer walk they expand. I usually like to wear thicker socks if walking 3/4 miles but in these boots I have to stick to normal socks. In every other way these boots are brilliant. Waterproof with a comfortable insole.

Hubby and I recently went to #AusGP in Melbourne. It was windy, rainy, and muddy but our Merry People boots kept our feet warm and dry! We were so impressed that we’re planning to use them in our upcoming holiday in South Island, New Zealand. There will be lots of walking in different terrains involved.
I do wish you’d come up with a light weight version. 😊

Living in remote Arnhem Land, these boots have been a lifesaver now that it is wet season! Not only are they practical but I always get compliments every time I wear them and they are even better with the socks! 10/10 recommend to everyone. I went true to size and it fits perfectly.

After retiring my Blundstones, I was looking for another ankle boot for vineyard and winery work. I found I needed more support for my knees & back, more waterproof, and lower maintenance than my Blunnies could provide. It’s been just a couple of weeks, but I’m in love with the color and comfort of my new Merry People boots! I can wear thicker socks on windy days and they’re not too tight. They seem to be the right mix or sturdy and lightweight. Hopefully they can keep up in the cellar come harvest!
