Hi! I’m Dani. I grew up on a dairy farm wearing wellies. Fast forward to 2014, while working a corporate job, I couldn’t find comfy, stylish, all-weather boots. That inspired me to create Merry People. I hope our boots bring comfort and a little extra joy to your everyday adventures!
In collaboration with the much-loved Melbourne fashion label Obus, the Merry People x Obus Bobbi Boot features the original Obus 'Golden Hour' print in the 'Dusk' colour palette and is designed to help you weather any storm.
The beloved Bobbi Boot style seamlessly blends fashion and function with a Chelsea boot design, natural rubber and a neoprene lining. In this collection the Bobbi Boot has received an Obus makeover with its extended neoprene cuff and colour-filled print, adding a touch of flair to it’s well-known design.

I was looking for some good dog walking boots and I pondered on getting myself a pair of the cherry colour Bobby boots for a while. I wanted something that was well made and would last as I have gone through quite a few pairs as the soles always seem to wear down very quickly for some reason. I have been wearing my boots for about 4 weeks now and they are great. They are really comfy and they clean up really easy with a warm damp cloth. Hopefully they will last me a very long time !

Great company and fast shipping with excellent customer service experience. These rain boots are really comfortable and I stood in a container of water to test whether they were waterproof. My feet stayed nice and dry. Love them so much I have been wearing them on days it’s not raining but cold and dreary and my feet stayed nice toasty warm. Did I mention how comfortable they are?

Having received the yellow 💛 boots for my birthday and loving them so much I decided it was time for a new pair I bought the khaki as I thought this colour would be perfect now that I am living on a property in a place that gets alot of rain.
