Hi! I’m Dani. I grew up on a dairy farm wearing wellies. Fast forward to 2014, while working a corporate job, I couldn’t find comfy, stylish, all-weather boots. That inspired me to create Merry People. I hope our boots bring comfort and a little extra joy to your everyday adventures!
Rain or shine, Merry People short Wellington boots are the perfect everyday rain boots! Not only have our boots boots been waterproof tested so you can wear them on rainy days without getting your feet soaked, but our wellies have also been tested for below-freezing temperatures, so they will keep you cosy from summer to winter in the UK.

We offer free standard shipping and returns within the UK for all orders over £30.
We ship from our warehouse in Basildon, Essex with delivery from Monday to Friday.
Royal Mail Standard - 48 hour tracked: 2 - 4 Business days
Royal Mail Next Day - 24 hour tracked: £4.95 | 1 - 2 Business days
Next day deliveries are not delivered over the weekend - if your order is placed with next day delivery before 3pm on Friday, it will be delivered on the Monday. Orders placed after 3pm on a Friday or on Saturday or Sunday will be delivered on Tuesday.
Same day dispatch: If you place your order before 3pm on a weekday it’ll be on it's way to you the same day.

We want you, or the gift receiver, to be in love with this purchase. If the size or colour isn't quite right or if they need to be returned for another reason, please let us know and we can offer you an exchange or a full refund.
We have extended the returns window from our usual 30 days. Orders placed from the start of November to 24th December 2024 will be eligible for an extended returns period of 90 days.
We will cover the cost of you returning the boots to us if you're in the United Kingdom.

These are wonderful boots- I love the neoprene lining that keeps the warmer than most rain boots and also is soft at the top so it doesn’t bother my leg if I don’t have socks on.
I slip these on for dog walks and snow shoveling in the early morning and feel warm and stable with the good tread. Love love love these.

This is now my 3rd pair of grey Bobbi boots in less than 4 months and they are excellent! So comfortable, look stylish and totally practical for dog walking in mud, rain and even sunny weather.
My problem is remembering to lock my boots away from my 1yr old puppy who totally destroyed my first pair and ate through 1/2 boot of the second pair 🤦🏼♀️.
My third pair will be locked up as soon as I take them off in future so that I can prove their longevity!!!!!

My new favourite pair of boots. Amazing colour, had lots of compliments from wearing them on their first outing out! I have wider feet so was unsure how they would fit, happy to say they are very comfortable.
Also highly rate their customer service team, my package went walkies and they were able to quickly allocate them and contacted the courier on my behalf.
I would have a pair in every colour if I could!
