Hi! I’m Dani. I grew up on a farm wearing wellies. Fast forward to 2014, while working a corporate job, I couldn’t find comfy, stylish, all-weather boots. That inspired me to create Merry People. I hope our boots bring comfort and a little extra joy to your everyday adventures!
Rain or shine, Merry People short Wellington boots are the perfect everyday rain boots! Not only have our boots boots been waterproof tested so you can wear them on rainy days without getting your feet soaked, but our wellies have also been tested for below-freezing temperatures, so they will keep you cosy from summer to winter in the UK.

We ship from our warehouse in Basildon, Essex with delivery from Monday to Friday.

Next day deliveries are not delivered over the weekend - if your order is placed with next day delivery before 3pm on Friday, it will be delivered on the Monday. Orders placed after 3pm on a Friday or on Saturday or Sunday will be delivered on Tuesday.

These are my second pair in a few months. (My first pair are fuchsia pink-So cute.) I was lucky to see my size available as this colour is being discontinued. I love them and they go with everything. I have wide feet and my normal size fits well. As a side note, I have plantar fasciitis and I find the boots more comfy for all day wear with my own insoles. I have to tell myself that two pairs are enough...For now lol

I bought my Bobby Boots thinking they’d be fantastic for my work as a New Zealand Kindergarten teacher. After all children choose to play in or outside regardless of the weather conditions and teachers are wherever the children are. A size bigger than my usual size, a thick pair of merino socks and my feet stay warm and dry all day. Definitely a win!
I’m writing this review on a wet and wild day, just before heading into town for lunch with a friend and guess what’ll be on my feet … yep, my khaki boots are headed for a cafe. They’re so versatile I might just require another colour for outings to town.
