Hi! I’m Dani. I grew up on a dairy farm wearing wellies. Fast forward to 2014, while working a corporate job, I couldn’t find comfy, stylish, all-weather boots. That inspired me to create Merry People. I hope our boots bring comfort and a little extra joy to your everyday adventures!
The perfect everyday Wellington boot. The Bobbi rain boot seamlessly blends fashion and function with natural rubber and a neoprene lining. Easy to dress up or down, wear from day to night, the Bobbi wellie is a wardrobe staple. We make our boots available in a wide range of sizes, to fit everyone - both men and women.

We offer free standard shipping and returns within the UK for all orders over £30.
We ship from our warehouse in Basildon, Essex with delivery from Monday to Friday.
Royal Mail Standard - 48 hour tracked: 2 - 4 Business days
Royal Mail Next Day - 24 hour tracked: £4.95 | 1 - 2 Business days
Next day deliveries are not delivered over the weekend - if your order is placed with next day delivery before 3pm on Friday, it will be delivered on the Monday. Orders placed after 3pm on a Friday or on Saturday or Sunday will be delivered on Tuesday.
Same day dispatch: If you place your order before 3pm on a weekday it’ll be on it's way to you the same day.

We want you, or the gift receiver, to be in love with this purchase. If the size or colour isn't quite right or if they need to be returned for another reason, please let us know and we can offer you an exchange or a full refund.
We have extended the returns window from our usual 30 days. Orders placed from the start of November to 24th December 2024 will be eligible for an extended returns period of 90 days.
We will cover the cost of you returning the boots to us if you're in the United Kingdom.

Nice and protective boot, I just got it a few days ago and used it in a rain day and show day in the NYC winter. It keeps me dry and it’s very comfy, I would say it’s on the wider side, so there is room for your feet. I usually wear 42-43 (US 9 dress shoe, 9.5-10 sneakers) and the boot in size 42 was great. The have very good grip, however, I feel them pretty heavy c on pared to other boots I have worn in the past. I also wore them for a 4 hour walk outside in -3 C weather with some snow, and my feet were freezing to the point that they hurt, even with thick wool socks, so consider wearing something extra warm inside your boots if you have to be outside for a long period of time in freezing temps. I think I would have been better with my regular leather chelseas, but now I know.

I’m such a fan of my gum boots. I bought them for the Japanese rainy season but also found them great in the snow. They’re really comfortable straight up. I took these boots on a trip to the UK where I went on walks with thick mud, steep slippery rocks and stream crossings. My feet stayed warm and dry the whole time and the shoes have really good grip so I wasn’t worried about slipping over. I love that I can also dress them up and wear them into the city. They are comfortable for all day wear and you can walk confidently knowing you won’t slip! If you only took one pair of shoes travelling this would be the one. The only shoes I can recommend for wet muddy walks.
