Hi! I’m Dani. I grew up on a dairy farm wearing wellies. Fast forward to 2014, while working a corporate job, I couldn’t find comfy, stylish, all-weather boots. That inspired me to create Merry People. I hope our boots bring comfort and a little extra joy to your everyday adventures!

I moved to the PNW and needed rain boots. We went through the BIGGEST cyclone on the West Coast history and these boots carried me.
They’re so comfortable and snug. The lining is neoprene so it’s really great at water wicking and making sure my feet are warm. My feet aren’t slipping and sliding inside the boot. The collar of the boot is snug, the backing is a little stiff but that’s what I prefer personally from wearing steel toed boots for work before.
I have really slim and arched feet and they were incredible. The size 5 is true to size.

I searched for comfortable rain boots for walking my puppy in the rain. In Northern California we are entering rain season and it can go for weeks. Merry People boots came up in my search. I was more intrigued the inserts could be swapped for my custom inserts. I used the photo size recommendation tool and it recommended a 9. I wear a 9.5 but went with it. The boots fit perfectly even with custom inserts. The first day with thicker socks was tight, but each day has been more comfortable. Highly recommend, the boots are so comfortable (and fashionable!) while keeping my feet warm and dry.

Received them in the mail and got rain the very next day. Out of the box the boots are very comfy and keep my feet warmer than expected. Right now we have a ‘bomb cyclone’ going thru our area, and I have been wearing them 3 days straight! Much more colorful and stylish than my muck boots, for working around the property. These I can wear around the house or out shopping. Love them!❤️

So I have wanted these boots FOR EVER!
I am very happy to finally own a pair.
However, even so they fit me comfortably and there is plenty of room, they rub around my leg and leave a mark :(
It does not happen everytime I wear them, but definitely happens if I wear them for longer than 1-2 hours.
So yeah, beautiful and comfortable to a point but a little sad that they rub. I wish the elastic around the leg was a bit softer.

Trying thicker socks or boot liners might help reduce discomfort, and the elastic should soften a bit with wear. ❤️🧡
