Hi! I’m Dani. I grew up on a dairy farm wearing wellies. Fast forward to 2014, while working a corporate job, I couldn’t find comfy, stylish, all-weather boots. That inspired me to create Merry People. I hope our boots bring comfort and a little extra joy to your everyday adventures!
The perfect everyday Wellington boot. The Bobbi rain boot seamlessly blends fashion and function with natural rubber and a neoprene lining. Easy to dress up or down, wear from day to night, the Bobbi wellie is a wardrobe staple. We make our boots available in a wide range of sizes, to fit everyone - both men and women.

We offer free standard shipping and returns within the UK for all orders over £30.
We ship from our warehouse in Basildon, Essex with delivery from Monday to Friday.

Next day deliveries are not delivered over the weekend - if your order is placed with next day delivery before 3pm on Friday, it will be delivered on the Monday. Orders placed after 3pm on a Friday or on Saturday or Sunday will be delivered on Tuesday.

I really DO like these boots; they've been handling their first Northeastern winter like a champ. I woke up to a few inches of snow the other day and didn't even bother stepping in other people's footprints like I usually do on my way to work. I just sloshed right through the snow, confident that the waterproof outer and the grippy bottom would keep me secure - and they did! I arrived at work whole and with completely dry feet. The only thing I wish is that they had half sizes. I typically wear a 9.5 so I sized down, but the boots are still just a mite too big. I had to replace the inserts with thicker ones, which just about does the trick, but not alllll the way. That said, I'm excited to keep wearing these boots and intend to take them on a few upcoming trips.

Boots arrived a week later than I initially thought but I did get an email to apologise for the slight delay.
Whenever we walk on the beach or in the woods the boots are one. Very happy.

Bought a pair for my husband as he has awkward feet and the boots he had for walking our dogs are not waterproof like they were supposed to be. He wasn’t over keen on the colour but tried them out anyway. He was so impressed he offered to get me a pair!!
They are warm, comfy and sturdy. Just need to buy more colours now 😂
