Hi! I’m Dani. I grew up on a farm wearing wellies. Fast forward to 2014, while working a corporate job, I couldn’t find comfy, stylish, all-weather boots. That inspired me to create Merry People. I hope our boots bring comfort and a little extra joy to your everyday adventures!

The perfect everyday rain boot. Our best-selling short Wellington boots blend fashion and function with a quality natural rubber outer and a cushy 4mm neoprene lining.

We offer free standard shipping and returns within the UK for all orders over £30.

We ship from our warehouse in Basildon, Essex with delivery from Monday to Friday.

Royal Mail Standard - 48 hour tracked: 2 - 4 Business days

Royal Mail Next Day - 24 hour tracked: £4.95 | 1 - 2 Business days

Next day deliveries are not delivered over the weekend - if your order is placed with next day delivery before 3pm on Friday, it will be delivered on the Monday. Orders placed after 3pm on a Friday or on Saturday or Sunday will be delivered on Tuesday.

Same day dispatch: If you place your order before 3pm on a weekday it’ll be on it's way to you the same day.

Sizing Recommendations

We recommend the inner sole of the Bobbi Wellington Boot to be around the same length as your foot (no less). The natural rubber and neoprene lining will soften and mould to your feet over time.

If you are a half size we recommend sizing down as the boots run a half size larger e.g. size 6.5 would be a size 6.

The insole is removable which can add about half a size when removed, or you can add your own footbed or orthotic.

We suggest you go with your standard shoe size (don't order bigger for socks.) If you wear thick socks, then measure your foot wearing the thicker socks.

A tad big
I’m usually a womens EUR42 which I ordered but find theres heaps of room still even with socks. Wish it went down in half sizes then it wouldve been perfect. Waited too long for these and although too big I will not be parting with these sorry. Will see if I can pull off wearing them to the office lol super comfy and classy. Can’t wait for more sizes to become available for my next pair of the oxford blue and tan colourway and will opt for size 41 this time.
