Hi! I’m Dani. I grew up on a dairy farm wearing wellies. Fast forward to 2014, while working a corporate job, I couldn’t find comfy, stylish, all-weather boots. That inspired me to create Merry People. I hope our boots bring comfort and a little extra joy to your everyday adventures!
A fresh twist on a neutral shade, Slate's blue and grey tones are an earthy colour combo inspired by the natural beauty of stormy coastal landscapes and rock formations.
The perfect everyday Wellington boot. The Bobbi rain boot seamlessly blends fashion and function with natural rubber and a neoprene lining. Easy to dress up or down, wear from day to night, the Bobbi wellie is a wardrobe staple. We make our boots available in a wide range of sizes, to fit everyone - both men and women.

We offer free standard shipping and returns within the UK for all orders over £30.
We ship from our warehouse in Basildon, Essex with delivery from Monday to Friday.
Royal Mail Standard - 48 hour tracked: 2 - 4 Business days
Royal Mail Next Day - 24 hour tracked: £4.95 | 1 - 2 Business days
Next day deliveries are not delivered over the weekend - if your order is placed with next day delivery before 3pm on Friday, it will be delivered on the Monday. Orders placed after 3pm on a Friday or on Saturday or Sunday will be delivered on Tuesday.
Same day dispatch: If you place your order before 3pm on a weekday it’ll be on it's way to you the same day.

We want you, or the gift receiver, to be in love with this purchase. If the size or colour isn't quite right or if they need to be returned for another reason, please let us know and we can offer you an exchange or a full refund.
We have extended the returns window from our usual 30 days. Orders placed from the start of November to 24th December 2024 will be eligible for an extended returns period of 90 days.
We will cover the cost of you returning the boots to us if you're in the United Kingdom.

I suffer with Foot Dystonia and have trouble finding good sturdy boots, but these are so comfy , and I have had a lot of remarks on how stylish they are.

I'm mostly very happy with my shoes. They are a bit tight and I'm not wearing think socks. Other than that they are so comfortable and convenient for my dog walks.

We do recommend a snug fit to start, as there is quite a bit of give in the natural rubber. A great little trick is to take out the innersole while you are wearing them in and you can pop it back once they soften with wear.
