Hi! I’m Dani. I grew up on a farm wearing wellies. Fast forward to 2014, while working a corporate job, I couldn’t find comfy, stylish, all-weather boots. That inspired me to create Merry People. I hope our boots bring comfort and a little extra joy to your everyday adventures!
A fresh twist on a neutral shade, Slate's blue and grey tones are an earthy colour combo inspired by the natural beauty of stormy coastal landscapes and rock formations.

We ship from our warehouse in Basildon, Essex with delivery from Monday to Friday.

I’m a big fan of Merry People!! Love my boots so much. These are my second pair and I will be building a collection as I love all the fun colors. These boots also keep your feet nice and warm. I’m in New England which makes them very appropriate. I also take my dog for long walks in these boots and they are very comfortable.

I wish they came in a 1/2 size! These boots are awesome! So comfortable! Worth the price. Im too big for a size 8 and naturally a 9. I want to keep them but dont know how to fix the 1/2 size difference..

If you went with the smaller size a handy tip is that the insoles are removable. If you need a little extra space, try taking the insole out. It can give you roughly half a size more room. You can always pop it back in once the boots have softened with a few wears. 🥾 🩷

I bought these as I needed a waterproof shoe that was still comfortable and fashionable for a 2 week trip to Iceland in October. The country is known for being its rainiest at this time of year, and I knew I would be walking quite a lot in it. These shoes were PERFECT. I wore them through airports, around town, to the beach, and while on a short hike to a waterfall. They kept my feet warm, dry, and on the move. They’re also super cute with everything - jeans, leggings, sweater dress. They are also not so warm that I can’t wear them at home (Arkansas). My new favorite boots for fall!
