Hi! I’m Dani. I grew up on a farm wearing wellies. Fast forward to 2014, while working a corporate job, I couldn’t find comfy, stylish, all-weather boots. That inspired me to create Merry People. I hope our boots bring comfort and a little extra joy to your everyday adventures!

The perfect everyday rain boot. Our best-selling short Wellington boots blend fashion and function with a quality natural rubber outer and a cushy 4mm neoprene lining.

The Merry People Black & Black Wellington Boot is perfect for all-day wear - working in the garden, walking the dog at the park, exploring the woods with your kids, dancing the night away at an outdoor festival, or even at your wedding! Wellington boots add style and fashion to every outfit.

We offer free standard shipping and returns within the UK for all orders over £30.

We ship from our warehouse in Basildon, Essex with delivery from Monday to Friday.

Royal Mail Standard - 48 hour tracked: 2 - 4 Business days

Royal Mail Next Day - 24 hour tracked: £4.95 | 1 - 2 Business days

Next day deliveries are not delivered over the weekend - if your order is placed with next day delivery before 3pm on Friday, it will be delivered on the Monday. Orders placed after 3pm on a Friday or on Saturday or Sunday will be delivered on Tuesday.

Same day dispatch: If you place your order before 3pm on a weekday it’ll be on it's way to you the same day.

Womens and Mens Sizing Recommendations

Bobbi boots run true to size. We suggest you go with your standard shoe size. If you wear thick socks, then measure your foot wearing the thicker socks. Send us an email if you are unsure about sizing.

We recommend the inner sole of the Bobbi boot to be around the same length as your foot. The neoprene lining around your foot will soften over time.

The boots should be slightly snug to start as the natural rubber will soften with wear. The insole is removable which can add about half a size when removed, or you can add your own footbed or orthotic.

In love with them
Honestly love these boots! So cute, so comfy, fantastic quality. I spent a long time deciding on the colour and I’m so happy with forest green! I found myself wishing for rain the day after they arrived so I could wear them and splash in some puddles!!

Beautiful colour, practical and comfy
I am normally a size AU9.5, and I initially chose the larger size shoe in a darker colour but my foot was too slippy inside the shoe and the smaller size in the darker colour was out of stock. So I took a chance after reading reviezws about the versatility of the Rust colour and I am so glad I did! The returns process was the best I have ever encountered, the new shoes were posted to me even before the initial pair had arrived back at the warehouse - talk about speedy!
Comfortable and warm, I can't wait to wear them at my kids' weekend rugby games and avoid getting muddy wet feet finally. Now to avoid the temptation of buying additional colours...

Like a weighted blanket for your feet
I’d been thinking about getting a pair of Merry People boots for a while, and I’m so glad I finally did. They’re like no other boots — the snug fit gives such a cozy, comforting feel. Super comfortable, warm, and perfect for our beach walk.
