Billie Clog

I bought my clogs in 2023 after a very expensive pair of "Made for healthcare workers" shoes by a different brand I bought had fallen apart in the span of less than 6 months. These looked cute, comfy and grippy enough for my job so I decided to give it a go. Not only did I get constant compliments on the colour but my feet were just as comfy in them on my last day wearing them as the first. I've worn them for thousands of hours and only late last year did the back heel part seam start to crack apart which really made no difference to the wear and was definitely in part to how rough I was with them.

The only thing I can say is that if you have tight lower legs, these aren't for long distance walking. Being on your feet all day in these is amazing but more so for working in the same sort of area as opposed to doing tons of continuous walking. Which obviously makes sense, them being clogs. 100% amazing for healthcare work, if you're a nurse or someone running around a ton, grab the boots for the extra lower limb support and then thank me later.

I loved these and I'm so sad that I've worn through them.

These are advertised as having arch support. As someone with flat arches and a genuine need for actual arch support, it was amusing to pull out the insoles that came with these shoes to note they are actually flat with a slight lip on the edge. With some very basic podiatry knowledge I can say with confidence that no podiatrist would endorse this as arch support.

I have kept the clogs, but I immediately changed to my old, expensive insoles that are fit for purpose. I’d be inclined to take the arch support description off the website as I feel it is incredibly misleading.

I have attached a photo but it’s difficult to see what I am talking about. These are not podiatry arch support insoles, just basic commercial ones and even they are noticeably more supportive.

Beautiful materials (thick rubber exterior, soft neoprene interior), colour, and fun to wear.

I’m usually a 38, but had to exchange for a smaller size because too much of a gap between my heel and the clog. But even with a smaller 37 size, my heel still lifts out of the shoe significantly… making it quite clunky to walk in. I was expecting a similar fit as a croc or Birkenstock clog where whole foot remains on footbed while walking.

Be careful of walking uphill as the removable footbed can slide within clog.

Hoping these will mold into my feet with a bit more time and I’ll have a more secure fit.
