Hi! I’m Dani. I grew up on a farm wearing wellies. Fast forward to 2014, while working a corporate job, I couldn’t find comfy, stylish, all-weather boots. That inspired me to create Merry People. I hope our boots bring comfort and a little extra joy to your everyday adventures!

The Andie Boot is a sleek, modern take on the classic slip-on gumboot. Perfect for the messiest of tasks and adventures, Andie features a 360° rubber outer, offering more coverage with 30mm extra height compared to our Bobbi Boot. Its wider opening makes it easy to slip on and off, and the chunky tread sole and arch support provides all-day comfort. Andie is ready for your merry and messy adventures!

We offer free standard shipping and returns within the UK for all orders over £30.

We ship from our warehouse in Basildon, Essex with delivery from Monday to Friday.

Royal Mail Standard - 48 hour tracked: 2 - 4 Business days

Royal Mail Next Day - 24 hour tracked: £4.95 | 1 - 2 Business days

Next day deliveries are not delivered over the weekend - if your order is placed with next day delivery before 3pm on Friday, it will be delivered on the Monday. Orders placed after 3pm on a Friday or on Saturday or Sunday will be delivered on Tuesday.

Same day dispatch: If you place your order before 3pm on a weekday it’ll be on it's way to you the same day.

Womens and Mens Sizing Recommendations

We recommend the inner sole of the Andie Boot to be around the same length as your foot. The neoprene lining around your foot will soften over time.

Andie boots run true to size. We suggest you go with your standard shoe size (don't order bigger for socks.) If you wear thick socks, then measure your foot wearing the thicker socks. Send us an email if you are unsure about sizing.

The boots should be slightly snug to start as the natural rubber will soften with wear. The insole is removable which can add about half a size when removed, or you can add your own footbed or orthotic.

Great but..
I actually really like the style, colour and comfort level - like the multiple other boots from merry people i have. However, even though they aren't hard to pull on the tag on the back of one of the boots starting to pull free from the first wear - I've actually not worn them as much because I don't want to pull it off before deciding if I could fix it myself

Amazing waterproof booties!
absolutely love these boots!!! they're perfect for all year round, and all types of weather. they are also so unbelievably comfortable, you can walk for hours and forget how long you've been walking for as someone who definitely has to wear comfortable shoes for overall health, these boots are fab! can't wait to wear them when the wet & muddy English weather comes around! :)

Narrower fit than the Bobbi
I have an old pair of Bobbi boots that I’ve worn and loved for years - one of my favorite shoes for dog walks, hikes, gardening and everyday use, rain or not! So I thought I’d add another design from Merry People and tried the Andie boot. Unfortunately, it doesn’t fit the same as it is narrower- “sleeker, more contoured design”, according to the customer rep I spoke with.. I really wish that was listed in the online description of the boots; I never would’ve bought them as the Bobbi fits perfectly. I’m tempted to exchange them for the Tully but, as there is no information online on how that one fits either, I’ll probably just get another Bobbi.
