Sizing Recommendations

We recommend the inner sole of the Darcy wellington boot to be around the same length as your foot. The natural rubber and neoprene lining will soften over time.

We suggest you go with your standard shoe size (don't order bigger for socks.) If you wear thick socks, then measure your foot wearing the thicker socks.

After receiving many customer requests, we are very excited to introduce the latest edition to our Merry People family - the Darcy mid calf wellington boot.

We wanted to create a wellie that was a step up from our Bobbi boot, with increased height coverage, increased functionality for wet and muddy conditions, suitability for different calf sizes - whilst also maintaining versatility so that you can wear from morning to night, city to country as an everyday fashion boot!

Sole design is inspired by the rolling hills of South Gippsland, Australia - the home of our founder!

Merry People boots have been designed to be a lifestyle boot. While our enhanced traction soles have undergone testing, they have not been designed as a work safety or snow boot. Please note, this sole is not necessarily slip-resistant on surfaces with oil or the combination of water and oil.

Delivery Times

We offer free standard shipping and returns within the UK for all orders over £30.

We ship from our warehouse in Basildon, Essex with delivery from Monday to Friday.

Royal Mail Standard - 48 hour tracked: 2 - 4 Business days

Royal Mail Next Day - 24 hour tracked: £4.95 | 1 - 2 Business days

Next day deliveries are not delivered over the weekend - if your order is placed with next day delivery before 3pm on Friday, it will be delivered on the Monday. Orders placed after 3pm on a Friday or on Saturday or Sunday will be delivered on Tuesday.

Same day dispatch: If you place your order before 3pm on a weekday it’ll be on it's way to you the same day.

Easy Free Returns

We want you to be in love with your new wellies. If the size of your wellies isn't quite right or if you’re not happy for whatever reason, please let us know and we can offer you an exchange for your boots or full refund within 30 days of purchase.
