Most customers find our Lochies are true to size. We suggest comparing your foot length to the footbed measurement and allowing around 5 to 10 mm of extra space for the best fit. The adjustable straps help you customise the fit across the forefoot, instep and heel.

How do I measure my foot length?
Stand with your weight evenly distributed across both feet. Place a ruler or measuring tape against a wall and measure from the back of your heel to the tip of your longest toe. Measure both feet and use the longer measurement when choosing your size. If you plan to wear socks with your Lochies, measure with the socks on.
Which measurement should I use?
Use the footbed length column in the measurement chart above. The footbed should be similar to your foot length, or around 5 to 10 mm longer, so your foot sits comfortably on the sandal without hanging over the edge.
What do I do if I’m between sizes?
If you’re between sizes, measure your foot first and compare it to the footbed length. Choose the size where the footbed is closest to your foot length while still leaving a little room at the front and back. The adjustable straps can help fine-tune the fit.
How should the straps fit?
The straps should feel secure without digging in. Lochie has three points of adjustability, so you can adjust the forefoot, instep and heel straps to suit your foot shape.
What size should I choose if one foot is bigger than the other?
Choose the size that best fits your larger foot, then use the adjustable straps to refine the fit on each side.
