2024 Monthly Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

Before you enter, please read the full terms and conditions below.

1. The draw is promoted by Merry People Designs UK Ltd (company number: 13679229) of 20-22 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU (Promoter).
2. The promotion is open only to residents of the United Kingdom who are over the age of 18 years, but excludes employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, its agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.
3. To enter: simply enter your email address in the competition pop-up on the Merry People website at uk.merrypeople.com. Your personal information will be stored in accordance with the consents and permissions provided by you when registering such personal information.
4. No purchase is required to enter.
5. A maximum of one entry will be accepted per entrant for the Monthly Prize Draw.
6. Any attempt by an entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple or different identities, and/or any other methods will void that entrant’s entry and that entry may be disqualified from the competition.
7. The competition is run each month across 2024 with one (1) winner announced each month. Applications open at 12.00am GMT on the first day of the calendar month and close at 11.59pm GMT on the last day of the calendar month. 
8. The prize consists of one (1) online gift voucher to the value of £84.95 for a pair of Merry People Bobbi Boots.
9. The prize cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash.
10. The winner shall be drawn using a random number generator from all eligible entries in the second week of the following calendar month. 
11. The Promoter will not be held liable if the named prize becomes unavailable or cannot be fulfilled.
12. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to substitute the prizes with prizes of comparable value if circumstances make this necessary.
13. The Promoter will not be held liable for any failure of receipt of entries. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any entries which are lost, delayed, illegible, corrupted, damaged, incomplete or otherwise invalid. Proof of submission of entry is not proof of receipt of entry.
14. The Promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any person it finds to be tampering or to have tampered with, the operation of the prize draw, or to be acting in violation of these terms and conditions.
15. The winner will be notified by email within two working days of the draw so please make sure you provide up-to-date details.
16. If the prize remains unclaimed within seven working days of notifying the winner, it will be redrawn. The winner from the redraw will be notified by email within two days of the draw.
17. Unless otherwise advised, the Promoter may also use the information for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes.
18. 19. The Promoter will collect personal data about entrants, in accordance with its privacy policy. Please review the Promoter’s privacy policy at https://uk.merrypeople.com/pages/privacy-and-cookies-policy. By participating in the Monthly Prize Draw, entrants hereby agree to the Promoter’s collection and usage of their personal information and acknowledge that they have read and accepted the Promoter’s privacy policy.
19. Unless you have chosen to receive other information from the Promoter, we will use the data you provide for the purpose of running the prize draw, including contacting the winner and the distribution of any prize.
20. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Promoter’s liability under or in connection with the competition or these terms and conditions shall be limited to the cost price of the prize. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel this promotional competition at any time.
21. To the extent permitted by law, neither the Promoter nor its agents accepts any liability for any injury, loss or damage arising from entry into this prize draw or use of the prize or any aspect thereof.
22. These terms and conditions and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter or formation shall be governed by and construed solely in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England. 
23. By entering into the prize draw, you agree to adhere to these terms and conditions and the decisions of the Promoter, which are final in all matters relating to the promotion. No correspondence will be entered into.
